2020 Stilwater POA Annual Meeting
Call to Order
The annual meeting of the Stilwater POA was called to order at 10:00 AM on October 3, 2020 via Zoom.
Establish Quorum
Representatives of 24 lots were present, 7 proxies were held by the Board, and 0 proxies were held by others, for a total of 31. A quorum was established.
Review of Zoom Procedures - Linda
Linda reviewed the Zoom procedures and provided a sample poll as a test.
Introduction of Officers and Committee Chairs - George
Present and introduced were George Leasure, President; Linda Ettinger, Vice President, Tina Orndorff, Secretary; Mike Tumbarello, Treasurer, Judy Gaudelli, Member-at-Large and Steve Bentz, Chair of the Architectural Review Committee.
Review and Approval of Minutes of September 23, 2019 Meeting
The 2019 Stilwater POA Annual Meeting minutes were unanimously approved as presented.
Reports from Officers:
President’s Report – George Leasure
Treasurer’s Report – Mike Tumbarello
Vote to Approve 2021 Budget – Mike presented the 2021 Budget to the POA. The 2021 Budget was unanimously approved as presented.
Website Update – Linda
ARC Report – Steve
Property Manager Report – Debbie
Nomination and Election of Board Members – Tina
Tina reported that there are two open Board positions. George Leasure and Linda Ettinger’s terms expire. The Nominating Committee nominated George for one open seat and Linda for the second. Positions are for two-year terms. Tina asked for nominations from the floor. Hearing none, the ballot was sent to the membership via Zoom poll. George and Linda were unanimously elected for two-year terms.
Concerns and Questions from the Lot Owners
The Board answered questions from the POA regarding lake water levels, broken glass, trespassers at lakefront, trash and adding fees to rental properties. During the discussion of docks and low water, George asked the POA about purchasing two sections of dock at $3,800 each. After discussion, a motion was duly made and seconded to approve the purchase of two dock sections. The motion passed unanimously.
Next Annual Meeting Date
In accordance with the Bylaws, the next annual meeting will be held October 2, 2021, the first Saturday in October. A motion was duly made and seconded. The motion carried.
Adjourn
A motion was made and seconded to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 11:50 AM.
